Planting New Trees in Elizabeth
Neighborhood-wide tree planting aimed at restoring the glorious tree canopy
Project Elizabeth!! If you haven't already received information in your mailbox or via email regarding Project Elizabeth, please contact Britta Crandall at brittacrandall@yahoo.com. In short, it's a neighborhood-wide tree planting aimed at restoring the glorious tree canopy that much of Elizabeth has lost to old age, disease, or storms. This year, the ECA has agreed to subsidize each purchased tree by $100.00. You can select one or more of the offered trees, and where on your front yard you'd like to plant it. The deadline for this offer is November 24th. Contact Britta if you would like an order form. Also, if your lawn is already full, you can opt to donate trees to the rest of the neighborhood (an option a couple residents have already chosen). Thank you!!
